Relexa Hotel Bellevue Hamburg Reviews
Perfect location (if only my room had been at the front!) Oct 30, 2009
4 star hotel just across the road from the Alster lake - unfortunately, my view was of the flats on the street behind.
Carpet was stained and a couple of cracks on an otherwise interestingly coloured wall were asthetically displeasing. Shower was not perfectly clean and gel dispensers were empty. However, some of the finest cuisine in the city in hotel restaurant - particularly the Hamburger pannfish in mustard sauce. Also, a rather delicious and generous buffet breakfast. Service is good and the staff are very helpful and friendly and retain their good humour when dealing with an English speaker who knows little more German than enquiring "spechen Sie Englisch?" Not bad value either. I booked about 1 month in advance and had 3 of Hamburg's finest summer nights over a mid August weekend for under £250 (including breakfast)...a summer offer on the non-alcoholic drinks in the mini-bar did lead to me paying somewhat in excess of £300 though! |

When I lived in Freiburg, Germany, I had to do a job internship in Kiel. This was a mandatory assignment from CDG, the organisation which gave me the scholarship to study IT in Germany for one year. The internship would take three months long. First…… My Lonely Trip to Hamburg |
