Great place to stay in Ko Lanta, an island 90 Km south of Krabi.
You can do excellent scubadiving on this Island. They have a private beach, rooms with private balconies and a good restaurant. You can watch the sunset from beach while enjoying one of the tasty cocktails from the bar.  Part of the Thailand, 2003 travel blog
