Good location, friendly service Feb 03, 2013
We stayed in two hostels during our stay in KL, one of which was Reggae Guest House 2 before we headed back to Brunei. Centred in China town, the night life is pretty lively. Free wi-fi, breakfast and towels, small but clean bedroom. Couldnt get a double but had bunk beds instead. Free reading materials to keep you busy at night, otherwise, you can take a walk and enjoy the sights and sounds. The only thing is that reception and the rooms are on the first floor, so will need to carry your luggage up the flight of stairs. Would recommend

Best Hostel I have stayed in Jul 27, 2011
After 6 months travelling, this is still the best guest house I have stayed in so far. It was recommended by a fellow travel heading in the other direction and I definitely owe her a drink next time our paths cross.

The hostel is spotless, there is a lady there always cleaning. I stayed in the 6 bed girls room which was cramped but cosy. Comfy bed which is my number one priority.

Location is in Chinatown, close to 2 MRT stations and bus routes. You can walk to most of the major tourist attractions but public transport is pretty cheap. Head to the street markets round the corner for the buffet food or over to the food court at central market. The main place to head out is Reggae bar 2 which is jut down the road and is usually packed with travellers.

The staff on the front desk are really helpful and you always feel safe.

Tip: get the bus to the Batu caves which is really cheap and worth the hike! Take insect repellent as we got eaten alive!!

Great affordable and clean Jul 14, 2011
Stayed here for 4 nights a few months ago and was very impressed with the cleanliness of the place. Cheap enough for KL and was very happy with the room. Only two blockes from the Pasar Seni station and one block from Chinatown's Petaling St market. Definitely recommended.

Affordable, good Hostel Central KL Feb 22, 2011
I was in KL by my self like you will be. I stayed in this Hostel. For the price it charged i found it excellent, i have stayed in a lot worse! They were friendly and more than helpful, it had all the facilities i needed and it was located right by China Town, which meant there was stuff for me to do and easy access to all areas. Check out the website if you still need a hostel.

Cozy China town Abode Jul 05, 2010
Good place to stay in chinatown. Very clean and the staff is quite helpful. It's near the Metro so easy to get to and from. Only downside is there is only one bathroom for each gender, So it can get a little backed up. You also should make reservations as it was really busy when I was there.
