The best thing about this hotel is the location. Near the corner of 34th and 7th Avenue!You have Madison Square Garden 100 meters, Times square 4 blocks and you are right in the middle of the garment district so great shopping! Everything is within an easy walk of the front door.
First impressions are very good with a nice but small reception area. Friendly staff at the check in with speedy service.
You know if you are paying cheap that you might not get too much but the rooms were clean. Some of the rooms are smaller than others but the underlying theme to the place is that it needs renovation. Believe me its comfortable but old. Things like bathrooms need updating and wireless internet did not work. The included breakfast consisted of Bagels, Dounuts and Coffee from a machine, pretty basic! I didnt spend much time in my hotel room (who would, its New York) so it was perfect for me!
Finally it's not a romantic stay for a couple but if you are travelling to the big apple with some friends and want a roof over your head thats safe I would recommend this hotel to the budget traveller just for the location just be warned its no oil painting!
