This is a beach community along the southern California coastline. The Pacific ocean is the western neighbor and thus there are many surfing beaches. Not known for the biggest waves along the coast is does have good white sand and overall very nice weather. Summer temperatures are generally into the eighties daytime and fifties in the evening with a breeze off the ocean beginning in mid afternoon. Winter temperatures drop to only the forties and fifties daytime and the mid forties in the evening.
Pacific Coast Highway runs through Redondo Beach.
Housing costs are quite high in this beach community and especially near the beach you will find multi-story apartments and condominiums. The main parts of town are old by California standards, being built in the early 20th century. You will find this to be mainly a residential community.

Who is this all important person?  Who could possibly be known by all of us, and part of our lives?  Think about it for a moment.  I’ll give you a clue.  Where are you?   Okay, for some of you who are still in the dark, I’ll give you one more clue. If you have ...

Zazou:  Cuisine of the Sun is an intimate restaurant located just off Pacific Coast Highway in Redondo Beach.   I found this restaurant from surfing the Citysearch Los Angeles website.  My cousin and I stopped here for an early dinner to celebrate Thanksgiving...foodie style.

Who belongs in LA?

I flew back into LAX on Thursday, the 16.  I had a good month at home, travelling up and down the east coast visiting friends and family.  I got to go to the Jersey shore, hiking, to a Muse concert, visit my brother at Virginia Tech, go to a bridal shower in CT, a Galaxy game in Boston, and many dinners with friends.  Last year I felt like my summer was ripped away from me.  I had to teach summer school for free and take all these teacher classes in Augu...
