Redondo Beach Marriott Residence Inn Torrance - Reviews - Torrance

"The girls" stayed here for the unofficial Hermosa Beach TravBuddy meet up in June and it was perfect!

Our room had two double beds and a pull out couch. We had a kitchenette and the best bathroom for a group of girls trying to get ready! LOL. The shower and toilet were separate from the dressing area which meant three of us could do make up and hair while one showered!

Included in the room price was a free breakfast which was rather surprising. We had eggs, sausage, potatoes, and make your own belgian waffles-complete with strawberries and whipped cream!

Because Hermosa was so busy with the AVP tournament, we opted to stay at the hotel and use the pool facilities for the afternoon. It was pretty empty and the group of us had a blast swimming around (and trying to use Tracy's waterproof camera..ha ha).

The only downside I could see was there was a bit of noise late in the night as a few people were having parties and someone knocked on our door pretending to be security at almost 4am..they obviously were at the wrong room! LOL. That is no fault of the hotel and we certainly cannot complain since we had a larger group present as well.

This was a great location to get to Redondo or Hermosa Beaches by cab and not worry about paying twice as much to actually stay in the city of Hermosa itself!

I stayed here for an L.A. area meet up in Hermosa Beach in June. The hotel wasn't too far from the meet up and also near some convenient stores and restaurants.

The room was a mini suite type room downstairs with a nice sized mini kitchen. There was a fridge, a stove and dishwasher and enough table settings for 6 people. Opposite the kitchen was a fold out couch with TV. The windows were nicely sized but also had full curtains for blocking out all that morning sun!

The closet was average size and the one bed had a nice bench area at the end to put luggage on. The pillows were really nice and fluffy and everything was really clean. The shower and toilet were separate from the sink / vanity area which is always nice. The lighting in the bathroom wasnt terrific but few are.

I didnt use the pool or go to the included buffet breakfast but I heard they are pretty nice. Looking at the pool chairs as we walked by they seemed rather nice, not that cheap plastic you find at most places but outdoor cloth cushions on nice wood frames.

My room felt rather quiet for a Saturday night but some friends of our staying in the next building over said it was kind of loud and some other hotel guest mistakingly knocked on their door at 4 am.

The parking was easy and plentiful and we found the staff to be pretty helpful as well.
