Redmond is suburban city about 30 minutes outside of Seattle. Redmond is most famous for being home to Microsoft and Nintendo of America. It has an annual bike race through the downtown and has the only velodrome in Washington. It also has a 560 acre park (Marymoor) with a rock climbing wall, multiple soccer and baseball fields, tennis courts, outdoor theater, and a model airplane flying park.

The downtown area has multiple personally owned businesses and has everything you could think of buying. It also has two golf courses. The private one is Bear Creek Golf Course and the public one is Trilogy Golf Course. Lake Sammamish is right next to Marymoor Park and offers beaches and boat launches. The 520 freeway that starts in Redmond and ends in Seattle, is a direct route to the major city.
