I was looking at schochon's profile thinking "wish I lived in a place that was that beautiful in the winter", feeling bad that I have to go to the desolate, picture starved, scrub brush mountains of L.A. (no offense, just not my cup of tea).  Then I walked out of the back door to my shop and was stopped cold by this view.  Again I remembered what this blog is all about, stopping in your own back yard to see the beautiful that you walk by every day.  Hope you enjoy them.

    What a delightful ride it was in the tow truck! It was quite new and the seat bounces while riding on bumpy roads. It felt as if was on a carnival ride, being high off the ground and experiencing the smooth bounces. After spending a month in the Sierra Mountains, it was time to pack up and head on out to Turlock where I visited my daughter and her family. We had a nice time and I then continued north and pulled into the Redding, CA Elks Lodge for the night. On this leg, I blew another one of the Chinese, Nankang trailer tires which made number four that has failed.
