This trip started out for me 3 days before we left London for Sharm el Sheikh. Somebody had dropped out and they needed someone with a diving qualification to go, and off I went! What an opportunity :) Upon arriving at the port and setting eyes on the boat, I knew it was going to be a great week. Dr. Swanson took my Cultural Geography class to St. Anthony's Monastery and St. Paul's Monastery. Both are on the coast of the Red Sea and are impossible to get to, unless you are the awesome Dr. Swanson and then nothing, not even mountains or a serious lack of roads, will stop you and your determined class. St. Anthony's Monastery (the oldest monastery in the world), is closed to the public and VERY closed to women. But, we were student's of Dr. Swanson, and Dr. Swanson was…

Last September we went to Egypt for 10 days. We stayed in a very nice resort: Serenity Makadi Bay Resort in Hurghada. Beautifull garden, swimmingpools and rooms!
We went one day to Luxor, it was a bustrip for allmost 5 hours, but it was great! We also make 7 dives in the Redsea. We don't have a underwatercamera so: No pictueres :(
