The hotel was nicely decorated and had that nice boutique hotel & spa look. Check in and check out were pleasant. We had some wine at the bar and the service was great (we had already eaten dinner but the menu sounded appetizing) Good hot water & water pressure, something I'm never sure I'll get in a historic building. And the spa rooms were well cared for. However, the noise from the street during the night overshadowed everything else. Pehaps they need to invest in some good triple pane windows. If I get back to Hot Springs I think I would definitely try to book a spa treatment, perhaps try the restaurant, but probably think twice about booking a room.

Got up that morning and went swimming at the worls famous hot baths( wasn't real impressed) This is a big swimming pool with a gravel rock bottom. But there is a big slide there that is lots of fun… Black Hills South Dakota |

Fun little town with lots of older sandstone buildings, very pleasant to walk around. We ate dinner in a family diner across from the "Evans Plunge" that seemed to have quite a few local patrons. We just had to try the buf…… Hot Springs, SD |
