Red River Cafe - Restaurant Istanbul Reviews
Great place to hang out with friends Dec 30, 2013
Red river is a relaxing and non-posh cafe restaurant in the old part of Istanbul near the Sirikit tram station. It is one of the few places in the area where you can sit and enjoy a beer, some wine or drinks without ordering food. The café is a part of a hotel and it therefore also serves as a breakfast place, and restaurant for the hotels clients.
There prices are fair and the service is nice and friendly, quite often accompanied with a smile. Their food is okay but there are better places just around the corner. This place is a great meeting point if you are with some friends in the old part of Istanbul. There is a very good Wi-Fi connection even when the place is full. The interior is a mix of a British pub and a Turkish restaurant. Their mojitos are fair but their cold Efes beer from the tap is really nice and pretty fair in price, Beware of their Raki that can surprise you in the end.
