Red Ribbon Bake Shop Angeles City Reviews
best mango cake Aug 04, 2012
Red Ribbon Bake Shop began as a hobby before it became what it is today. The first store opened in 1979 in Timog, Quezon City. Today, Red Ribbon has grown to over 200 outlets/franchise stores all over the Philippines and 38 stores here in the U.S. with locations in California, Las Vegas, Arizona, New Jersey and New York.
Their specialty is bake products. They have all sorts of local cakes like “Ube (purple yam) Cake, Mango Cake, Black Forest Cake, Taisan and many more. What I like with their cakes is that they’re less sweet. And with their mango cake, you can taste and see the tidbits of mangoes in between.
In the previous years, they did not have dining areas but they must stay in competition with “Goldilocks Bakeshop” so now they have small dining tables around for those who would like to dine in. Besides the baked products they started serving other Philippine snacks and dishes but in my opinion cakes will always be where they’re good at. I personally like their mango cake and taisan.
Their staffs are usually friendly and wore a hairnet which is a sign of good food sanitation and hygiene.
Prices are quite expensive though.
