Red Bull Hangar 7 - Salzburg - TravBuddy

Hangar 7 is a combination of Restaurant, Bar and Museum. Occasionally it is also used as a concert-hall or for Parties.
The exciting part of this is, that its actually a hangar-shaped glass-cage and its filled with all sorts of airplanes, cars and red-bull-memorabilia. Oh, and modern art, which is changed every now and then.
Its really stunning to look at from the inside and out, especially if you are excited about architecture.
The part I loved most, was the bar which is right on top of the dome and you have to walk up a gangway-shaped walk. The floor is made of glass and its a funny feeling to see the ground twenty metres below your feet.

It consists of a restaurant, a lounge and the bar, as far as I saw it.
The part I didn't like as much, is that it was pretty expensive and its very posh... well, its famous for the "celebrities" that go in and out. Or at least, wannabe celebs.
The kitchen is apparently five-star or whatever the equivalent for cuisine is. I only had free hors d'ouvre, a mini-lasagna, which was pretty good.
During Parties its all very stiff-ish and there are exceptionally pretty blondes, dressed up as air-hostesses standing around. Weird.
Oh, and my aunt and her friend were highly excited about the bathrooms, with a computer that allows you to send flirty messages to the male bathroom. And the bathroom generally is pretty enough.

All in all, its very stylish and if you are excited about architecture, airplanes, red bull or even just the prettiest bathrooms around the world this might be for you.
My suggestion is to go there, so you can watch the sunset, because the place looks its best then.
