 A real guesthouse in Kampala Mar 12, 2008
Staying in this guesthouse was a real treat. Rita is awesome, and a great cook. Each room has it's own bathroom and towels and linen is provided. I'm not sure if people can just come and stay here (the first time) the house is actually set up to be for people who are sing Real Africa's tour packages. There were some people who did tours in the past using it for sleeping without a tour this time however.
There were a few days without power (as in all of Kampala) and on the last two days the city had turned off the water and the guesthouse's small tank was emptied quickly. (so no water) The place was secure and there was an armed guard at night. It was really great and I would stay here again if going to Kampala

A very nice lodge for your Safari. Luxury rooms even for US/Europe standards...and to find something like this in Uganda was great and unexpected. Has a pool with an awesome view and the food was AWESOME!! The staff know you by name. Safaris can be arranged by the desk, and there is a massage/spa area too...you can get an hour for about $12 USD. Can't beat that!!
