Reading is a town on the main commuter routes into London from the West, lying a short way outside the M25 motorway. It is not well known for its tourism, but has a good shopping mall and a football team. Reading is close to Windsor Castle.

People who know me in personal would say that it wasn’t me - to buy a ticket one day before the trip, leave everything here just like that and go for a weekend to UK. Moreover, coming back not to Vilnius, but Riga. Telling the truth, I just needed some changes, some new places and new experiences. And fast. So just bought the ticket and flew. I have not been on the road properly since November and I am a little anxious to get going. I should have been on the way already but had to pull the plug on visiting Kenya due to the riots there. This site is all about our travels but today and yesterday I walked home from my place of work, past the lake which was full of the recent rain and flooding which caused such disruption in a country that prides itself on it's constant rainfall. The evenings were both gorgeously warm, still and full of the sounds of wild life.
