I have been asked by a number of TBs to put some of my pics in one place so the only way I could think of doing this was to put a blog up and place the images there. There are all totally random and I am happy to put some notes on those that peeps would like..just leave a comment under the image and I will explain where, when, how and also why if needed :)

People who know me in personal would say that it wasn’t me - to buy a ticket one day before the trip, leave everything here just like that and go for a weekend to UK. Moreover, coming back not to Vilnius, but Riga. Telling the truth, I just needed some changes, some new places and new experiences. And fast. So just bought the ticket and flew. I have not been on the road properly since November and I am a little anxious to get going. I should have been on the way already but had to pull the plug on visiting Kenya due to the riots there. My twin brother did go however and flew out this morning...bugger...we were going to have a few days on safari..hey ho there will be other times.

This site is all about our travels but today and yesterday I walked home from my place of work, past the lake which was full of the recent rain and flooding which caused such disruption in a country that prides itself on it's constant rainfall. The evenings were both gorgeously warm, still and full of the sounds of wild life.

I'm packing up my life here in Reading, and with most of my stuff ent off to my aunts, the rest coming with me or being sent to a Tip or Charity, my Flat is looking a bit bare and messy. Some one suggested - Isle of Wight. Where's that? A quick trip to wikipedia and google made a good impression.
