Most Memorable Travel Experience
Instead of any particular experience I´ll just mension some of the most memorable moments I have brought with me from different times and places...
- The view of the Ngorongoro crater in Tanzania from Hero´s point... - Dawn over the Grand Canal in Venice from the windows of the Londra Palace Hotel... - The tranquility of the Golden Pavillion in Kyoto, Japan... - Lines of white crosses on the American Cementery in Omaha Beach, Normandy... - Following the path of Don Quijote through the streets of Toledo, Spain... - Caribbean sunsets while sailing south from Miami to Cozumel on the largest cruise ship in the world (as of 2006)... - Flying in a 1940 built biplane used to train World War 2 pilots while in Key West. Profile
I am just somebody who was born on one end of our planet, now lives on the other and is trying to visit rest of it as soon as possible. Other than that, I am an engineer, I do work sometimes (to pay for travel of course!) and am going to Business School soon. Work hard, play hard, travel a lot and discover something new every day to keep life interesting is my motto.
And here comes my (Oh so very serious!) statement of purpose "My travels all over the world, to more than 25 countries include trekking Tanzania’s Ngorongoro crater accompanied by Maasai tribesmen, following the great migration in the Serengeti, exploring the famed Tokyo tuna market, contemplating the Atomic Bomb Dome in Hiroshima, walking through the ruins of Tulum, the castle of Salzburg, the catacombs of Rome, the old city of Toledo or the canals of Venice. Meeting locals, exploring cultures and visiting every museum that crossed my path taught me to respect and appreciate human diversity!"

A three week adventure though Japan & China. Starting in Tokyo we explore the city, move towards the Hakone and Mt. Fuji area staying at a traditional Japanese Ryokan, than fly to China and explore the main sights in and around Beijing & Shanghai before coming home with a short stop in San Francisco along the way.
