Great Chilean Food Uptown Santiago Dec 09, 2009
If you are like me, when you travel to a foreign country, you like to eat the local fare. I actually prefer my hosts to order for me. Of course, this is only for the adventurous at heart as you never are quite sure what you are going to get. However, in a restaurant like this in a country like Chile, the odds are in your favor that you will be getting a fabulous meal. This case is no exception. It was served with roasted potatoes and was perfectly complimented by the Chilean red selected for the table (you can never go wrong with a Chilean wine). The ambiance was very South American with the walls stacked floor to ceiling with wine racks. If you are staying at any of the hotels along Kennedy Ave, than you are literally right down the street. Highly recommended.
