Being here is like walking three centures into the past. Many of the french quarter's buildings still retain their 18th century facades, as well as their sometimes spooky histories.

Arrived New Orleans for Mardi Gras and had a feeling it was going to be a great event. After all, we were already having a hard time finding parking and we were still quite a few blocks from the French Quarter and Poydras Street.

On our final day in town we walked around the city to see the sights and reminisce about the great times we’d had. Roaming the town once more, we admired St Louis Cathedral from Jackson Square, browsed the art galleries on Royal Street, and …… We might have been there through the 13th or 14th, but this is as much as I can remember. |
