Rashmi Guest House Varanasi

The location is absolutely great! On the banks of the river Ganges.

A wide view over the river and the city.

You can only reach the guest house walking through the alleys of the old city. A bit of a labyrith, but after a few times you will remember...

The big ghats like Dasaswamedh and Manmandir (the burning ghat) are a few minutes walk. And there is also a small ghat at the entrance of the guest house.

The rooms are clean and have airconditioning, the lobby is luxurous, the staff is very friendly and the rooftop restaurant has an absolutely great view (and breeze)! The food is good, so you don't have to wander though the alleys in the dark to find a restaurant. This is the only place to be!

But not all rooms are great if you have no river view (like me). Some rooms are very small (like the 'closet room' number 101).

You defenately pay the price for a central location. But it's worth it.
