Ras Ethipian Restaurant
Ras Ethipian Restaurant Reviews
Good Food, Reasonable Prices Oct 02, 2008
I was a little weary of Ethiopian, having had an unpleasant meal at an Ethiopian restaurant in the US (New Haven, Connecticut), but I was in for a pleasant surprise at Ras. The first thing that impressed me was the layout. There are regular tables, and also tradition Ethiopian tables. My friend and I tried that tradtional table, where you sit on stools with a small table next to you for your drinks. The waitress was very, very friendly and very helpful, offering suggestions and helping us choose our dishes. We'd gong for lunch, and their lunch menu is quite affordable. It's 30 Yuan for spongy bread and 3 choices of food. Sodas and juices were normal, priced at 15 Yuan. Overall, the food was quite delicious, my favorite being the lamb stew. We also had Ethiopian tea- I had the hot tea and my friend had the cold. Both were quite good.
Overall, this was a very good experience for us, and we both agree that's it's on our "To Return To" list. (as posted on LocalNoodles.com) Part of the The China Adventure travel blog |
