Family Vacation to South Dakota to see Mount Rushmore. We stopped at Devil's Tower on the way up, and the Chimney Rock area of Nebraska on the way back.

Southwestern South Dakota, known as the Black Hills, is full of parks and monuments. Using Rapid City as our base of operations, a friend and I hit all of them in a four day weekend.

Being from South Dakota I have been to Rapid and have seen everything there is to see numerous times but it really doesn't get old. My boyfriend hadn't seen much so I took him to Mt. Rushmore, Harney Peak, Crazy Horse, and Reptile Gardens. It was so much fun sharing those places with him.
