Thailand, Ban Khao, a road less travelled: Ranot Travel Photos

Ban Khao,(also spelt Ban Khaw, it is fairly typical in Thailand to see two or three spellings for a place!) This is the Lake District of Thailand, mostly only visited by Malayan tourists on day trips. lotus flowers are gorgeous but only open in the morning. Long boat trips may be taken from Thali Noi, village. Patthalung train station is about 30 kms away. It's a lovely area although places to stay are scarce.
