huge game of tag around the city, FUN! May 09, 2009
Once a year, there is this tag game around the city, called "Journey to the end of the night"... It goes for about 5 hours, depending on how fast you can run. This year almost 300 ppl showed up! It's free and all you need is to show up at the meeting place where you would get a ribbon (color depending on if you are running away or catching ppl). Also, you need a cta pass (public transportation) and a map of the train/bus system if you are not familiar with city.
There are some check points and you also need to look for signs, like a "Spring chicken" or a "very tall woman" ....they even have trophies for the winners....it's soooo much! :) They also have in different cities...i think the next one would be in Minneapolis... Also some pretty cool stuff, but is better if you just look at the pics, lol ...it's hard to explain... they didn't really had floats...just ppl dessed up and doing goofy things...it was cool! :D |
