Nice bit of quiet in an otherwise noisy tourist area Oct 16, 2009
Ive had a great time staying here, ive had 2 rooms, first a superior single, which was clean and pleasant to stay in, the second a superior twin, which is a great room, nice and clean too....
The bonus with this place is the pool on the roof, being able to get away from the noise below is great and i spent alot of time up there relaxing. The staff have been nice and polite and helpful when needed. Will deffinatly use this place again Part of the 2009/2010 Travels travel blog |

Rambuttri Inn Sep 01, 2009
We stayed in teh Rambutrti Village Inn for two nights when we first arrived in Asia. The rooms were spotless and seemed quite reasonably priced, although to be honest we didn't do much shopping around. The staff were lovely. Best of all, there was a really nice rooftop pool with nice loungers, which made a big difference with recovering from the jet lag! :)
This is a hotel rather than a backpacker hostel, so it is not the best place to go if you want to meet people to travel with. However, the strees itself is quieter and more relaxed than nearby Khao San, which is only a block away. The hotel itself didn't seem to have a restaurant but there are plenty within a few seconds walk. I would be happy to go back if I was in the area again. Once I was at Bangkok I caught a taxi to the Rambuttri Village Inn and checked into a reasonably expensive room (450B). After a long day I couldn't be bothered with looking around and wanted something convenient as it's only one day till I go to Cha-am to start my volunteer placement. Feeling… Bus to Bangkok |

…Daniel and Kitty (Sweden)We had to be up and out of our room by midday on Saturday, so as we could move hotels to the nicer Rambuttri Village Inn. My brother Paul had kindly offered to pay for us to stay there with him and his girlfriend Maddie, during their visit out to Thailand to see us. After checking ourselves in, we realised that the air conditioned room was far superior… Seven crazy drunks in Bangkok! |
