Itchy feet and have made the decision to take the plunge, give up the day job and go for a very long walk.
Planning to head firstly to California and see my kids and then down to Ecuador for as long as I can, who knows I may never want to come back.
I want to explore the mountains, the rain forest, the beaches and take in everything that this wonderful country seems to have.
I want to learn Spanish and meet locals and fellow travellers.
I should have done this all when I was a teenager but didn't so now I am.

Someone once said that life was one long journey, but its not, its a serious of short journeys and I have my rucksack packed to start my next journey, I cannot believe how excited I am and how much I cant wait to sell everything I have and just go and do something completely and utterly wonderful
I want travel the more remote areas of the planet and take stunning photographs on my own or with people who are fun, funny and up for most things.
So if you meet a 6ft Scotsman in a hostel in Quito or with the indigenous people in the rain forest, say Hi, it might be me.
