Don't be fooled into thinking that while traveling I get lots of lie-ins, I don't! I get up earlier most d…

David and Wendy picked us up at the Novotel and drove us out to Raglan on the west coast of the North Island. It was a busy day in Raglan, as we found out later there was a reggae concert there that day. Raglan is sort of a hippie beach community, fairly artsy and lots of fun. The…

Hostelling began for us in New Zealand with South America next on our agenda. From here we will spend 3 weeks in Jamaica where I hope to get my fill of reggae music and celebrate a birthday. To North America's west coast and using a 30 day Amtrak pass get to the east coast. Europe next and buy a vehicle to travel and sleep in making it back to the UK in time for the summer folk festival season. Our return trip will be via Egypt, UAE, India and Hong Kong.
