Radisson Blu Waterfront Hotel Stockholm Reviews
Good Location Jul 15, 2014
This hotel is very handy for the station and it's rail link to Arlanda Airport the hotel is a large city centre hotel and can be extremely busy at breakfast times some of the rooms like the one I stayed in have some fine views of Stickholm's city hall as does a part of the breakfast dining area,so if you have trains/planes to catch allow enough time for breakfast
Like most hotels in Scandinavia drinks etc from the bar are quite expensive but all in all a nice hotel and if ever I'm back in Stockholm I would stay again

Really nice hotel with nice views Jul 31, 2012
Radisson Blu Waterfront Hotel is one of the newer hotels in Stockholm. The hotel is located next to the central station and facing the water next the iconic Town Hall. The hotel is located in an area with loads of different offers and it is also one of the pricier in the area. When that is said it is possible to make great deals here like I have done this week where I managed to get a room for around 100 euro without breakfast. The breakfast is known to be one of the better ones and I managed to buy that for 15 euro.
The hotel is located next to a bridge and you enter the large area with their parking from the bridge, Klarabergs viadukten. The entrance to the hotel is quite large, because the hotel is also a huge conference hotel. I had actually been at the conferences here some months earlier but I had never stayed here before. The conference facilities were quite nice and the hotel had a nice bar near the reception area. It was also this bar that I remembered when I entered the hotel for my stay, so I entered the hotel with a smile.
There were 3 persons standing behind the counters ready to help the guest with their check-in or check-outs, When I arrived they were all busy serving and answering questions from senior travellers from USA. It became my turn and a friendly girl greeted me with a broad smile. She quickly found my booking and she gave me a room on 9th floor. The elevators were located next to the reception. The room was located with a view towards the water and the Town Hall and I liked the view.
I entered the room and immediately liked the fact that it had windows from floor to ceiling, it gave good light and gave air to the room. The room was fairly large after North-European standards. The walls were white and the woodwork was made in bright wood. I was given a room with two single beds that actually could be moved together without them moving apart.
There was a safe and mini bar with two sodas, tree beers and two small bottles of wine. There was a small desk where the lamp was broken (only flaw in the room). There was also a large closet and a couple of mirrors. This was a nice room both for holiday and business. There was also free Wi-Fi, which did function all over the hotel. The access was just room number and surname.
The bathroom was nice and clean in its design with white walls and brown tiles. There was the usual standard of shampoo and so on that you find in any Radisson hotel.
The hotel restaurant was nice and even fair priced. The restaurant was pretty sort after by the visitors of the hotel.
