Radisson Blu Hotel Galway
Radisson Blu Hotel Galway Reviews
Jul 13, 2007
Through no fault of the hotel, they didn't have our reservation when we arrived. Our travel agent instead booked the hotel in Glasgow instead of Galway. Thus, the hotel didn't have space for us there. The staff were very helpful in trying to sort this out and the had an internet connection so I could get the paperwork to support that we should have been at the hotel. What ended up happening was that the hotel bought a hotel next door which was theirs. This wasn't as nice as the orginal hotel. At least we were able to have a room during this time and they weren't that bad just no view and the hallways were always dark. From what I remember the bathrooms could have been a little cleaner as well??? Anyway we were able to enjoy the dining facilities at the hotel and they were very nice. We only ate breakfast there but it was very good. It was buffet style so you could get what you liked. The hotel has a parking facility for your cars that is out of the weather. It also has a lake on the one side so you could have a nice view. Since we were in the other building we didn't have any view. The hotel was about two or three blocks for the information center where some of the tours met up. Eveything seemed to be in walking distance from the hotel as well. I think I would have enjoyed it more at the orginal hotel but the other building wasn't awful.
