Radiator Springs Racers Anaheim Reviews
Ka chow! Sep 12, 2016
This will probably be the only ride review that I will post here on TB.
Located in Cars Land of Disney California Adventure, the Radiator Springs Racers is a race track ride, a fast one that takes you through the world of the “Cars” film.
A very popular attraction, this is one that you want to get a Fastpass, as soon as you get into the park. But if you cannot get one, there is the option of the single ride line, but that will mean that your party may be split into different rides.
The ride is very similar to Test Track at Epcot in Florida, but I think this one is much better. The backgrounds, which is a replica of rock formations along the old Route 66, are really nice to look at. Even if they are not real, they are still nice to look at.
During the ride, you will see various characters from the “Cars” film, like Lightning McQueen and Mater, as well as the Hudson Hornet.
There is a point, when you will be “racing” against another car. That is when the ride goes relatively fast. As nice as the background can be, you may want to put away the camera during that time.
So it is worth the hype? I would definitely say so. I enjoyed it very much, that I went on it twice.
Included in the park admission.

Race through the Desert Southwest! Jun 12, 2013
Radiator Springs Racers is the premiere attraction at Cars Land at Disney California Adventure. As of this writing, it was the hottest ride in the entire Disneyland Resort! Lines for the ride can take up to two hours! Fast Passes are gone for the day by 10:00 a.m. Is it worth it? You bet!
Our early morning strategy worked and we waited only about 30 minutes. But there is a lot to keep you busy and make the time pass. The scenery and detail along the queue is breathtaking. The Disney Imagineers have outdone themselves in creating Radiator Springs, a middle-of-nowhere stop in the desert along old US Route 66. The bottle house replicates real bottle houses in the desert. The scenery is such that you can't see other areas of the park and you can believe you are in the desert.
The ride itself is supposed to represent a race scene for Cars. You board a racer and are coached by member of the Cars cast of cars. Then you're off, racing throgh the desert against another car!
The ride technology is similar to Test Track at Epcot in Florida, but the theming is completely different.
