Great American fare; great atmosphere May 10, 2010
Close to quite a few popular Denver attractions, situated between Cherry Creek and Downtown in the great Capitol Hill area, it is a great place to grab a bite or a late night cocktail.

Racines maintains a huge following and great reviews by Denver foodies by sticking to its guns and steering clear of the ever changing trends. They serve flavorful, yet healthy and wholesome American dishes. Portions are large and made with love. They have an array of homemade pies and pastries that keep people coming back.

Racines is open for all three meals, and each offering is just as delicious as the next. They whip up favorite homemade breakfast foods, including famous flapjacks. Gingerbread pancakes are a favorite of many, served with apple-pecan butter. Lunch and dinner menus include a huge variety of soups, stews, quiches, pastas, sandwiches and respectable cuts of beef and poultry. My meal at Racines would never be complete without an order of the delicious banana cream pie!

The bar is a huge draw for the professional Capitol Hill crowd. It is a popular place to grab a post show cocktail.

One of the things I love most about Racines is the atmosphere. They have large comfy booths and a fantastic patio. The decor is chic, but not over the top. I am a sucker for great patio dining, and Racines has one of the best in Denver.
