Arrived in Rabat hotel after driving around trying to find the damn place!!! ( Achraf is SUCH a good driver!)Traffic pretty horrendous in Rabat. Throngs of people and noise and chaos makes Rabat a full on city! Our hotel was directly opposite the walled medina...and it was nice… Via Asilah to Rabat |

Arrive at Hotel La Tour Hassan around 6.30 pm. This wasn’t the original hotel we were going in, but the guide upgraded us, which was pretty nice. Buffet dinner at 8.30 pm. … Nice Hotel |

Since we were only in Rabat for a few hours we stored our bags at a nearby hotel before heading to the medina for lunch. The restaurant we ate at was I believe one of the few open during the day since it was still Ramadan. Unfortunately, three of our party, were unable to join as they had to go to take… All hail the king! |

At 5pm Khalid droved us down to Casablanca where we stayed at a hotel for one night ($39.00) waiting for flight the following morning for Malaga Spain. Summary: Rabat was a great place, people were nice, and the whole city is just beatiful. There seemed to be a lot of guides everywhere and tour buses everywhere. We piled into our tour minivan bus and left our hotel in Rabat at 9:00 in the morning (will be a common theme throughout my journey, 9:00 am).
