RS Seaside Hotel Pattaya

RS seaside is located almost the end of Jomtien Beach and it is kind of far.

I don't mind the location as the hotel is just located at the beach with the main road separating the two.

However, given that the hotel is quite old and with little to provide with the expensive price, I would rather stay elsewhere and also you can just randomly check in to any hotel you find cheap as there is filled with plenty of hotels along the beach.

I love the beach as it is quite uncrowded given the location but some would prefer a much more crowded place. It is totally up to you.

7-eleven are plentiful along the beach so no worries if you need any snack or amenities. The hotel itself do not serve food as they do not have restaurant but you can find there is a nice pork shop just outside of the hotel and they serve english style breakfast. Good deal.

Walking Street (Which is the happening place) is quite some distant away. Cabs are very unlikely to be plentiful in this area and tuk-tuks are rare as well. Instead, ride on the 'song theaw' A 2-benched truck vehicle to get to the walking street. You can see the locals hops on and off.

But be smart and don't get con. To do this, just pretend you 'know it all' ask whether they are going to the walking street and hop on. The fare at the maximum is 20baht. One guy tried to con us by saying 50baht per person which is ridiculous.

They have a pool in the hotel but I have not used it but it looks small so yet it is not advisable. The rooms are big so it is a good place to stay in.
