Quincy Hotel Washington D.C.

Compared to prevailing DC hotel prices, this place is cheap. Nearest metro stop: Farragut West (Orange/Blue Lines) and Farragut North (Red Line).

First impression: The door man joked with us when we arrived, but didn't help with the luggage. Staff weren't very friendly.

Kitchen facilities are in the room. Fridge/freezer, pots and pans, plates and utensils, stove. The sink in our room was clogged but drained slowly. We didn't use it other than for hand washing so we didn't bother to report it. Complimentary wireless Internet is supposedly available (you can ask for a cable if you wish from the front desk, with deposit), but it was down during the 3 days that we stayed there.

The bed and sofa in the room was comfortable. The linen was crisp and clean. The furnishings we actually nice. Wooden blinds on the windows. Office desk was big.

These was a dressing area just outside the bathroom which was nice. 2 closets with drawers in one. There wasn't much space open space tho' so it was rather hard to open a half-split case flat.

Conclusion: For the price, I could stay again.
