Qu'importe l'Ivresse Lyon Reviews
NIce place to have a glass of wine Dec 04, 2009
"Qu'importe le flacon, pourvu qu'on ait l'ivresse", meaning "Whatever the flask, provided that one gets the drunkeness"
My friend Maxime and I were out walking the streets the evening before the opening of the light party of Lyon and it was pretty cold so we decided to make a lot of stops in order to taste some wine and get some warmth back in the body.
One of the stops was at Qu'importe l'Ivresse in Rue Mercière number 3; the place was quite empty and we to a high table near the bar and close to the door. We ordered a glass of Macon, a Chardonnay and a Viogner. The waiter was friendly but was busy polishing glasses for the coming days. The place was otherwise quite modern and I completely loved their wine machine.
