Quepos is a small town that serves as the entrance to Manuel Antonio. While it may not be the most picturesque town encountered in Costa Rica it certainly has character and is home to a large number of banks, shops, restaurants.
Quepos is currently under a complete town renovation with the building of a new marina and improvements.

Canopy Tour and Beach

We had scheduled to go on a canopy tour with the hotel receptionist. It was only $65 U.S. dollars and it involved transportation to and from the site, about 2 hour canopy tour and a Costa Rican lunch. We left at 10am to go on the 50 minute shuttle ride into the rain forest. We got there and got hooked up by our guides and then it started raining! Go figure...it's raining in a rain forest. The professional photographers gave there little talk about having CD's available with at least 20 pictur...

Sent Date  11-20-2002 11:46:00 AM Hola from Quepos!!! OK, I finally did the jungle Canopy Tour. I felt I was Tarzan (maybe like Xena sometimes) zipping through the forrest ceiling was a RUSH. I've been getting enough sleep here bec I'm tired by 10 PM. David, my friend, is going crazy on Euro gals. So far, no luck with him + the gals. Posiblemente fue este el día más aburrido, desesperante e indignante de las tres semanas que duró el viaje a Costa Rica y Bocas del Toro. My vacation to Costa Rica in the raining season. We were also a few days in Panama. I travelled in a group with 25 persons. I loved it !! About the speed in Costa Rica and Panama: someone told me there that you have slow, than slower, then slowest. After that you get Costa Rica and finally Panama. ;)))
