everyone seemed pretty smashed when i decided to empty the house to go to town,i don't get it,why stand in a house full of sausage when theres girls in town,who gives a crap if theres still a bit in the keg,that'll keep us going for a day or so after.remarkably… Madness in the Mountains |

Instead of seeing rows and rows of houses on the beach...you can actually see the beach, unobstructed from the road because there's nothing but grassy farm land and sheep and cows...cows on the beach instead of monsterous houses. It's amazing. There's so much nothingness, dotted with the random… a samosa a day keeps the doctor away |

That night, being our last night, we decided to go out to The beefeater steak house, as usual, our eyes were bigger than our stomachs and Ben and I attempted eating over a kilo of steak - newyorker to be exact. I got maybe a quarter in and gave up, but kudos to Ben who finished his! :D

…coast brings you through a number of small villages, most of which didnt even have a village shop, just a sprinkling of traditional houses. In fact the first major cilivisaiton we saw was several hours later at Fox Glacier. Unfortunately by this point we were once again driving in pitch black darkeness, so we were unable to enjoy the beauty of the place (I have been… Day 11 - Time to say Goodbye.... onwards Miss Custard |

…place to stop for a break, but didn't seem to have any public scenic stops where you could stop because all the best places have houses built on them! We found a little spot though where we got a nice view. Drove through Wanaka (looked nice) down to Queenstown along SH84 which is incredibly scenic. You can stop at the very top and get a great view… Queenstown |
