Queen Travel Hotel Hanoi Reviews
Small boutique hotel Oct 12, 2009
First of all, the Queen Travel Hotel has a great location in the old quarter of Hanoi. The Waterpuppet Thaeter and the red bridge are close by and if you like to explore the city of Hanoi on foot (who doesn't?), this a good starting point.
Hang Bac is a small street full of life. The hotel is situated in the middle of it. The entrance is on the entire open ground floor and you have to pass a small, wooden bridge to get to the reception, which is a small, old desk in the corner under the stairs. There's a very tiny elevator.
If you book a room you have to ask for a VIP room. The VIP rooms are on the two upper floors and are basic, but with an oriental style. Our room was on the highest floor and had a nice king size bed, strange furniture, a small TV and a very, very small bath room with a challenge to get a proper shower.
Service is with a smile, but don't expect much for breakfast.
Anyhow, this is a good, but basic hotel for a stay in the capital of Vietnam.
