Quebec-Ouest actually does not exist, it is mainly a mapping mistake as there is no administrative entities having this name. Although, it could be possible to locate this place as being the western suburbs of Quebec city which would be including: Ste-Foy and Cap-Rouge.

Ste-Foy is mainly a services suburb where all the mail, the University and other shops are located as well as being a well sprawled dormitory purposes bungalow land. Ste-Foy used to be a village which has been merged by the urban development following WWII. Sadly, nothing remains from the historic settlement which has been dilapidated by the development of the automobile and domiciliary development norms.

Cap-Rouge is a rich suburb west of Ste-Foy, offering some great view on the St-Lawrence River from it's shore. The old Cap-Rouge settlement still remains and offer a typical interesting environment.
