Quality Inn Fresno Reviews
Ghettonotsofabulous in Fresno Mar 23, 2012
After visiting Las Vegas and before heading out to Yosemite, we had a night in Fresno. We didn’t stay here very long, so I don’t have much of an impression of the city.
We stayed at the Quality Inn only for a few hours. As far as accommodations go, it was your standard motel off the freeway type of place. No frills, no thrills rooms. The beds were plush and comfy. The TV was small but it did its job. The bathroom was small and there was enough soap, shampoo and conditioner (which is a big plus). Plenty of towels.
The grounds of the Inn were actually quite nice, there was a swimming pool, which I would imagine would be perfect in the warmer months, however, it being 45 degrees outside, I wasn’t going to put any part of my body in it. There were lots of trees, a nice grassy area and blooming flowers. Nice.
There were three big negatives while staying here. First, whenever you flushed the toilet, it make a very long, loud angry sound, almost as if something was going to come back up and attack you. Next, when you took a shower, the water would sputter at you. It wouldn’t come down in one stream rather come down at intervals. Both of these were tolerable, just annoying. What was completely unacceptable was to continental breakfast served in the morning. Not that I was expecting a gourmet meal, but the breakfast area was impossible to find, and was completely disappointing. The coffee was the weakest and possibly the worst I’ve ever had, there was fruit but only bananas and oranges, the prepackaged danishes were dried out and I couldn’t wash it down with coffee. There was white bread for toast (pass) and you could make waffles, but without syrup or butter, what’s the point (pass). The juice was also watered down. I mean how hard is it to make breakfast?
If a place to stay for a couple of hours is what you want, this will fit your needs, however, don’t expect too much.
