Quaker Steak and Lube Sharon Reviews
The Best Wings in the USA Mar 04, 2008
Quaker Steak and Lube...a play on wording from the motor oil company Quaker State and Lube...started out in downtown Sharon, PA in 1972 from an old gas station. They decorated the old gas station with license plates and classic cars that every one can enjoy. The atmosphere is very laid back and it's a great place to go hangout with your friends and to unwind after work.
Their are currently 30 restaurants, including Tennesee, Georgia, North Carolina, Wisconsin, Florida, Ohio, West Virginia and of course the Pittsburgh Area of Pennsylvania!
Quaker Steak and Lube is famous for their wings...even though steak is in their name. They have a pletherful of wings that they are always adding flavors to it. They are famous for their Atomic wings...which you have to sign a waver to eat because the heat index is so hot and once finished you get your name on the hall of fame. Their other famous flavors are Louisiana Lickers and Cajun. Also, if you go on Tuesdays you can have all you can eat wings for 10 bucks after 5PM, Wednesdays are a buck off a bucket and their compact bucket and larger you can split the bucket between two different sauces for a buck more!
If you like the flavors enough and want to take the sauce to make your own wings you can buy the bottles are the restaurant, also, so you can wow your friends after visiting the great Western, PA area!! If you want to go to the one in Pittsburgh rather than Sharon, just go to The Point at North Fayette near all the shops of Robinson near the Pittsburgh Airport!
