Qchnia Artystyczna Warsaw Reviews
Qchnia Artystyczna Aug 09, 2009
Qchnia Artystyczna is located in Ujazdowski Castle which is the Centre for Contemporary Art; Qchnia Artystyczna means in English "artistic kitchen".
Their aim is to take a creative approach to traditional Polish comfort food, turning out dishes such as wild-mushroom potato pancakes and nalesniki; crêpes stuffed with sweet cheese and seasonal fruits, and I must say that the food I had; was simple & straight, decorative and tasted really nice.
The restaurant is simply furnished without under- or over-doing it. I liked the decoration on the tables which were beautiful, nice and simple as well. The terrace is huge and gives you the possibility to overlook a part of the city and it is truly pleasant in the sunshine. We were extremely lucky with the weather so we had the full joy of the view and a soft wind blowing gently across the area.
The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, and there was mostly a short queue in order to get one of the tables outside
