Putra Mosque Putrajaya Reviews
A wonderful building! Jul 06, 2011
The Putra Mosque is one of the most famous landmarks in Putrajaya (the futuristic administrative capital of Malaysia). This mosque is distinguished by its magnificent pink dome. It is constructed with rose-tined granite and inspired by some of the world's most famous mosques. The basement wall resambles the King Hassan Mosque in Casablanca, while the 116m tall minaret is designed after the Sheikh Omar Mosque in Baghdad. It has five tiers , representing the five pillars of Islam.
