Pushkar is not as well as it could be. Or as it would like to be. A year or so ago, in final protest to the infinite tributaries of human detritus - chemical, material and organic - that must have found their way to the waters of the town's eponymous and sacred lake day in and day out, …

When I arrived at Pushkar, it turned that it was a little town of approximately 15,000 inhabitants. It's really relaxed to stay at Pushkar, the place to be is at one of the ghats at the holy lake of Pushkar. In August there were many pelgrims visiting Pushkar and the holy lake. I walked around Push…

It has been a long few days. We started off with a camel trek through the Thar desert. The camels are a little different than the ones in Morocco were. People ride them two at a time...driver and rider and as a result, they go a lot faster. All of us had some pretty sore bac…

I had heard from friends and read numerous books about India, but it didn’t matter, nothing could possibly prepare me for this country.
