One of the premier Crested Butte Bed and Breakfast inns is the Purple Mountain Lodge. Originally a mining office built in 1923, this building became a Bed and Breakfast in the 1970s when it was rolled down into town on logs. Great in-town location, only two block from the unique shops and wonderful restaurants on Elk Avenue.
