Abohar area of Punjab is very much rich in orange cultivation.People are friendly and have good accommodations to live in within their orange groves.People are most hospitable and feel happiness to receive guest and entertain them without any charges.

Every evening, just after the border is closed, around 6 o'clock (in Summer) there's a very special ceremony.
Thousands of Indians are yelling like it's the final of the world cup. At the Pakistani side it's a bit quiter, but still...

From December to March end there is orange harvesting time in Abohar.The climate during this period is very much nice for a western traveler.

Mr Harish Gandi breed horses for Derby racing.He has a big orange garden and within this orchard he has a very comfortable Guest House, which he is happy to share it with friends without any charges.Karolis and his girl friend Indira from Lithuania visted his stud farm and stayed with his family.
