The Hotel Pulitzer Amsterdam really does go above and beyond. There are not as many amenities as you get at others hotels of this stature but it makes up for it with really great guest rooms and fantastic service. We were in suite 341 overlooking the canal on the front side of the hotel and it was beautiful. Two sets of french doors open to a rail, alcove sitting area with exposed brick walls and a small but very nice marble bath. This hotel is like a maze though. Often to get to most rooms you'll walk a way's down odd shaped hallways, up and down several steps and sometimes even through outdoor passageways. The hotel manager told me that the hotel is comprised of twenty-nine historic townhouses that run long two of the cities canals. It really was a delight, and the restaurant excelled greatly. Highly recommend if you're traveling to Amsterdam and want a great place to stay.
