Luxury Italian meal for a special occasion Jun 12, 2008
If you're looking to celebrate a special occasion, Pulcinella's was great.

The ingredients were fresh, the service was great, and the atmosphere was elegant. Our server Gabriel was delightful. The drinks were cheerfully prepared especially for us based on a drink enjoyed in Italy several years ago. It is centrally located, just a short walk (away from downtown) from the main hospital. It is just a few blocks from at least a half dozen hotels on Dorset St. and Williston Rd.

The cons: the price and the time. It took approx 30 min for the entrees to find us and since I don't eat bread normally I was pretty hungry before we got the first course. Also, it cost nearly $100 for the two of us (tax and tip included) to eat appetizer, entree and dessert with 1 drink each. It's more than we normally spend to go out for lunch.

But, for a special occasion, the food was great and well worth the money we spent there relative to comparable restaurant choices in the area.
