They got most of the typical dishes of Ecuador from the cuisine of the Coast to the Amazon. Try the delicious trout or tilapia (the fish from the Andean rivers). Nice pastry such as quiche, humitas, empanadas, quimbolitos or bolones. I personally like the shrimp ceviche with a cold Pilsener beer. For meat lovers they got delicious filet mignon and beef in pepper sauce.
Another highlight of this place is definetly its location, while having your meal you can admire the Imbabura Mountain and San Pablo lake through the huge windows. In this restaurant also you will find the Puerto Lago Hotel, i have not been there but apparently it´s very cozy, they have chimeneys which are a must due to the killing cold of the night.
I preffer to go to eat here in the morning or for an early midday lunch while the sun is shinning and it is not that windy.
At the restaurant you can always ask for delicious fresh made natural juice. One of the best things in Ecuador... we have so many varieties of tropical unique fruits, i love it!
