This past fall I took a semester off of school to go live in Buenos Aires. I took language classes at Bridge Linguatec in the mornings, and volunteered teaching English at the Casa del Ninos in La Boca in the afternoons. I was living with an Argentine family for the first month, then got an apartment for the next two months. It was amazing! I also got to do a bit of travelling around Argentina and in Brasil as well.

Future Arg/Braz Study Abroaders:Welcome to Buenos
Aires. The good air really is not that good; in fact
it is quite awful. And because of this, you will get sick. I can almost
guarantee it. It is advisable to bring an assortment of medicine just so you do
not have to worry about it later (Advi…

Hola amigos. as those of you who know me are already aware, brought down by the ennui of life in the UK and the NHS, we quit our miserable jobs and flew away for three months to see the wonders of Chile, Argentina, Bolivia and Peru. here's a few bits of our adventures. (i started this about a month into the trip but I'll try and write about the first few weeks retrospectively.)

We went to both sides of the Falls. The walk is better in Argentina but the view is awesome from the Brasil side. We stayed at rhe Sheraton in the Park in the Argentian side. IOt is pricey but what a great location and view.
We took the jet boat under the falls. You will get wet
